Preservative Free Saline Solution For Sensitive Eyes
For rinsing heat disinfection, and storage of soft contact lenses. May also be used for rinsing in conjunction with chemical disinfection. This solution is useful for patients with a history of sensitivity to Thimerosal, chlorhexidine or other substances present in preserved saline solutions.

Avoid the burning and stinging of regular saline solutions.

Can Contents: 12FL OZ of sterile, buffered, isotonic saline solution containing sodium chloride, boric acid, and sodium borate with a pH balance to match natual tears.

I am very sensitive to Saline solution preservatives — they make my eyes burn — much to the consternation of my optomitrist. For some reason, this product is almost universally unavailable in stores. Love it.

Like the similar Lens Plus product also offered here at Amazon.com, this Blairex Sterile Saline Solution is an outstanding product. I use it every time I insert my contacts when getting ready to start the day. And, if one has a particularly long day (a few extra hours with the contacts in), take them out, give them quick soak with a few squirts of this, and voila! You will have those extra few hours of contact wearing comfort.

I just added a review for MiraFlow from Ciba, the daily cleaner used at the conclusion of the day when you must soak a contact before wearing again. With these two products, 1) MiraFlow, and 2) Blairex’s Saline Solution or Lens Plus I have enjoyed 12+ years of problem-free contacts wearing. (and I would add to this the various enzyme tables I use about 1x per week)

I am convinced that these products have helped me keep my eyes healthier and certainly have extended the useage of my contacts.

This is money well spent on this product.

My only complaint is that this product and Lens Plus almost cannot be found on regular drug store shelves. So it is essential that Amazon continues to offer this.

I have very sensitive eyes and other salines burned my eyes when I would use it with my contacts. This stuff has never giving me any burning or irritation. Love it
