1 Star Steer Clear from Clear Eyes
For the love of God do NOT use this! This product almost killed me. I ended up on all fours while screaming for help and pouring water into my eye. Needless to say, I lost that particular contact. Did I read the directions and follow them precisely? No I did not. Am I sorry? Yes, I am. However, I don’t think that my failure to follow instructions deserved the punishment I got. This product BURNS! In my lifetime, I’ve gotten gasoline and windex in my eye (not at the same time) and I would prefer to wash my eyes out with either of those things than to touch Clear Care again. I was in pain for over 24 hours, and my eye looked like something out of a horror movie for 72 hours. I couldn’t wear contacts for a week. So, if you are brave and want to use this product, please follow the instructions exactly and use that stupid little cryptic cleaning case. If you’d rather play it safe, steer far clear of this horrific product.
5 Stars solved all my contact problems!
I was having serious issues with my contacts until a great eye doctor finally suggested that it’s probably the contact solution (not the actual contacts) that I was sensitive to. Your basic, “all-in-1″ contact solutions are actually filled with preservatives and don’t actually CLEAN your contacts. They just sort of sit in this solution. Well….clear care actually cleans so well you can see it working! (It’s hydrogen peroxide) Anyway, it’s wonderful, and I can wear contacts all day long without any issues now. I highly recommend it…
