I have used this product to remove the protein build up on my lenses for 28 years. I can’t say enough about Opti-Clean II. I hope they never stop making it. It keeps my lenses sparkling clean.
5 Stars Best cleanser ever
Unfortunately, I think this product has been discontinued–I can’t find it anywhere but online, and I bought the last three from this particular seller. The cleanser has a very fine “scrub” to it, so it completely cleans my daily wear lenses. I have greatly increased the length of time I can keep my lenses–and they never ever feel scratchy or “chunky”. Hopefully Alcon will decide to start making this product again!!!

The product works well, but I feel it’s over-priced for the size. And I would like to see it be made available everywhere, not just online, because the shipping costs are as much if not more than the product.

I wear non-disposable soft lenses with extreme correction for astigmatism, and it is so hard to find a good daily cleaner for them. Just all-purpose disinfecting/storing solutions do not enable a wearer to manually clean the lens because they don’t let you slide your finger across the lens to clean off debris. I liked a product called Pliagel best of all, but it is no longer available. This product is hard to find and expensive, but worth the effort of ordering. I hope they don’t discontinue it as well!

My eyes are very hard on contacts and protein deposits build up very quickly, even on biweekly lenses. This is the only cleaner I have found that cuts through the crud and both helps comfort and longevity of my lenses.
